True Happiness

Whenever I am walking by someone, I always say hi. Well, today I said hi to this particular gentlemen and asked him how he was.

His response was beautiful. He said, “I’m great, I feel great in my soul”

What a profound response. This is someone who is genuinely happy.

I ended up talking to him for a while after that. He just exuded pleasure in everything he said. He was full of passion about even the smallest details.

When we finished chatting, I too felt great in my soul. And now I hope you do too.

Smiles!!!!!!!

Holiday is almost here!

Are you as excited as I am about the holidays this year?

My son is 3 and really gets it this year. He is soooo excited.

We celebrate Christmas, so this year he sat on Santa’s lap (without crying) and had a pretty long chat with Santa. He helped decorate the tree and the house and is just mesmerized by all the lights and sounds of Christmas.

I know that the holiday season is not just about presents, lights, and music. But what’s great about all these things is it’s a way to celebrate and have fun. A time to give to each other and be joyous.

Take away the stress and just enjoy the happiness. Be like a child and really live it up this holiday season. Soak up every second with your family and friends. Take a minute to pause and appreciate.

I wish you the merriest of holiday seasons. Have fun, relax, and be HAPPY!

Warmly,

Teri

I’m Back

Whew, I have been gone way too long. I was having server issues so the blog was down. My sincerest apologies.

Well, the holiday season is fully upon us. With all the hustle and bustle it’s easy to get overwhelmed. Here are some quick tips to keep the fun of the season and the stress levels down.

  • If you need to get any more gifts, there’s still time to use the internet. Saves you on gas and stress, no long lines to wait in.
  • If you do need to go out to shop, give yourself plenty of time so you don’t feel rushed. This way you can take your time and take in the sounds and the beautiful decorations.
  • Stop and smell the roses, or the coffee. Take a break and sit back and relax with a nice cup of herbal tea or your favorite coffee beverage with a friend. Talk about how exciting things are right now and how great it is to have such a wonderful friend.
  • Stop by the section of the mall where Santa is. Look at the amazement and excitement of all the kids waiting to sit on Santa’s lap. As you look at their smiling faces, think back to times when you were a child and everything was new and wondrous.

It’s time to appreciate the little things, because it is the little things that mean so much. Be grateful for being alive and for the bounty you’ve been given. Walk around with a smile and say please and thank you. Make this a season of celebration and pleasure.

Enjoy, laugh much, and be well.
