You’ve probably heard this time and time again, but breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. As a successful woman, you know that you want to look and feel your best all day. Starting out your day with the correct breakfast helps you stay thin and fit and gives your body the energy it needs for all the important things you need to do throughout the day.
A lot of people skip breakfast and just have a coffee because they think that by skipping the meal it will help them lose weight. Or sometimes they feel as though they just don’t have time for breakfast. Here’s a little bit of info. about the benefits of starting the day right with a nutritious breakfast.
You should start your day with a combination of high fiber and high protein. The protein is important to give you energy throughout the day, basically the fuel your body needs to function. The fiber helps not only for proper intestinal functioning, but it also helps you maintain the feeling of being satisfied. What I mean by that is that you won’t feel hungry again 30 minutes later. You feel comfortably full and content.
So what does all this mean in terms of benefit to you. The combination of the fiber and protein kick starts your body in motion. Your metabolism gets moving which helps you maintain or lose weight. You feel great and have lots of energy throughout the day instead of having the ups and downs you get from your sugar levels rising and falling.
There are lots of options for those of you who have a busy lifestyle. You could have whole grain toast and a hard boiled egg or enjoy a yummy protein drink. You can also get up five minutes earlier and enjoy a bowl of high fiber, high protein cereal and a glass of OJ. Remember to eat foods low in saturated fat. My personal favorite that I enjoy every day because it helps me stay thin and healthy is Himalayan Gochi Juice.
Feel free to enjoy your morning cup of coffee too. Just don’t go too crazy with the sugar and use a fat free creamer. Eating breakfast can be enjoyable and definitely rewarding. Try it out for a couple of weeks and see if you notice the benefits of starting your day out with a healthy breakfast.
